Contradictory to you, superstitions aren't allowed in Islam (as i was taught). And it really depends on how you label them you see.
Lets just take what you pointed out, 'tk bleh makan pegang pinggan cause nanti in future bnyk hutang'.
If we put into context that 'young women aren't supposed to eat while holding the plate or else they would be in huge debt in the future', it really doesn't make any plausible sense.
But if people were to say that with the reason that the plate might fall and break, it makes perfect sense.
What im trying to point out is that most of the people i know 'warn' me about these things but are still using the age-old yet meaningless reasons and they seem to believe in them as if it is really true when 1, it is utter bullshit (in my opinion) and 2, they very well know that they follow a religion which forbids such thinking as only god will decide on our fate and outcome of our actions.
And my post is more or less directed to the people i know who are muslims. I'm not one to say what the others should or shouldn't believe when i either do not know them or they aren't muslim.
Once again this is solely my opinion. But thanks for expressing yours. Made me rethink what i posted =).
Oh and Shanka (tattoo). Sorry for saying that karma is bullshit. Re-reading it made it look racist.
That line is directed to my muslim or so called muslim friends who keeps telling me about karma when in actual fact, we can't believe in it (as i was told and taught).
