Its the study period now and i've been (not really) cramping a whole lot of crap shit in my head.

Funny, ive been working quite alot for these past few weeks, and i'm starting to really really enjoy work.

I don't understand the furore or overreaction to the jade seah fiasco. Okay maybe she uttered fuck but don't we all? And it isn't her fault really because the mike was supposed to be switched off.
Okay whatever.

let see lets see. Studying has totally drained the blogging side of be so ill be back after my exams yo.

Someone asked me where I am studying at this morning.
Was asked about my age then.
After replying, that someone said he envied me.
Envied that I'm still so young, envied that I'm still in school, still having education, still with a chance of a bright future.

What i saw was, sincere sadness.

It's true, what he said, i guess.

I wouldn't wanna be stuck being thirty, without solid papers, doing the same thing again and again
for three years with real stagnant, pathetic pay.

It's a wake up call ham, in the most inconspicuous kind of means.

I read an article in the Sunday Times today regarding the position of Malays in Singaporean society.

And that article really hits the spot.

Here I am, Mr your run of the mill Malay guy of Javanese decent.
Funny, I'd always like to point out that I'm of more Javanese while I can't even speak the language.

Sometimes, i ask myself, why do I view Malay, my own race, on a low level?
(Yes, i am not particularly strong in my own mother tongue)

Is it because of the society's general view upon my race?
Is it because of the countless hooligans and hoodlums that we always see, loitering about, making a nuisance?
Is it because of the rising number of premarital pregnancies in the Malay community?

Maybe, just maybe.

All of us, Malays included, seem to have this mentality that theres an inherited lazy gene in every Malay boy and girl of this generation.

But why?

Why is it always viewed upon that the other races, especially the Chinese, are always hardworkers?

I can keep asking these questions all night, but trust me, it won't be solved in the morning.

We all try to think positive, to be optimistic.
We all try to show that us Malays can do a job as good or even better than our counterparts.
But sometimes, events on the other side of the causeway, aren't helping at all.

Malaysia, country with a Malay majority, governed by Malays.
And what are they doing?
Squabbling. Politics.
Accusations? Sodomy? All of you are Muslims for god's sake.
So much furore over people wanting to convert out of Islam.
But the ones who are SUPPOSED to be Muslim, are accusing each other of sodomy.
Wake up guys, you are becoming the laughing stock of the world.
Sad, real sad.

But who am i to say all these.
I'm not doing myself justice.
I should be studying. Hah.
Well, maybe this issue would provide even more self motivation for me to study.
To study and to 'bring up my own race'...one step at a time.

Today was, quite, random, in some ways.

Woke up for subuh with the intention to study after praying.
But fell asleep on the couch till nine, so had to rather chop chop get ready for school
as i had a test at 11.

Reached there 2 minutes before the paper.

Lecturer: Boy, quickly, its going to be 11.
Me: Eh cher, chillax ah, still got 2 mins what. No worries.

After that i proceeded to take my time stuffing my hoody into my already fullypacked bag
and strolled to the seat.

Rockstar benar. HAHA.

Halfway through the paper ( it was a 1 and a half hour paper, though i finished it in 1/2 an hour), my stomach grumbled like REAL LOUD till the people surrounding me turned to face me.

Me: heheh, didnt eat breakfast la. =D

After the paper, i went straight to Masjid Sultan at arab street for friday prayers. Love that mosque, its so huge and spacious.

Did i mention that i wore clothes that i usually wear to sleep? haha thats how lepak today was.

After that, met Suck-In-Ah at zam zam. Had my long awaited murtabak ayam, and we proceeded to find sakinah's zombie keychains. That girl goes retarded over these things man.
And yeah i was 'zombiefied' by her via a red zombie.
When she was picking out them zombies, i noticed that her pose was exactly like a makcik at the wet market, picking through potatoes. HAHA.

Voila. The 21st century auntie.

So after that, she accompanied me to shop at bugis street.
My first time! and how great it was.
Bought 2 berms =DD.

Had work from 4-10, not such a bad shift. Tmr will be even better i suppose.

After work, LEPAKED with Nab, Dee, Hafiz abg arab, Muhammad Wei Xiang, Kenneth Abg Tattoo, Hafiz (2nd BATCH!!). Hah.

Makes me realize that with wonderful people like these around me, i should be more grateful.
I mean, which lady friend would you say this to "erm, can you please move that side abit, i can feel your boob." HAHAHA.
And which other friend can you explain all your drama playwright aspirations to with such gusto and thrill.
And which friend can you keep bullying before, during and after work but you know that he'd always be by your side.
And which friend would go crazy after realising that WE'RE OF THE 2ND BATCH!!?? hahaha.

Yes, should be grateful, definitely =).

Though some small things would certainly be the cherry on top of the whole evening.
Too bad swensens ran out of cherries.
Oh well.
