The cage. An exciting place where football comes to mind and heart and play. And i was there from 4-6 playing my heart out. Well not literally. It was fun while it lasted. Laughing, shouting, dribbling, shooting, cursing. A place of mixed emotions skill. Yes i may not be as skillful as the other guy beside me but i do play decent football. I pulled of some tricks that i am very proud of and i definitely got my $2.20s worth. Well it was $50 but there were loads of people there.

We went up to the changing room and Juff discovered that the storeroom was open. But i will speak no more of that.

Returned home, shagged with an aching back. I felt like an old man, clutching my back like i've got osteoporosis or something. Took a bath, prayed and had my dinner.

Eventually i ended up watching this documentary with my dad. It was about the Haj ritual. The annual Muslim ritual to Mecca and Madina that was started by Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Oh how beautiful it was to see Islam's place of birth. Yes it wasn't as dramatic as seeing it in real life but i guess right now i could only afford to see it through the TV screen. Seeing the pilgrims engaged in an intense spiritual state, I felt that i really wanted to go there and insyaallah i would. Going to the place where i face everyday for prayer, the Kaa'bah. Maybe even die there. That would be absolutely splendid. Getting buried with the Messenger of Islam and the rest. Getting a one-way, all expenses paid, no frills ticket to heaven. Everyone who performs the haj wants it., only a handful will get it. But it wont be nice to the loved ones back home though.

Well not right now obviously. You have to be well behaved, patient, forgiving. I am, unfortunately, quite impatient, I spew vulgarities as if it were like water, I still oodle (oogle?) at women, I still laugh at the weak and innocent, I make fun of the less fortunate, I cant read the Quran fluently, I only know a handful of prayers, I do not understand the prayers nor do i make an effort to do it. All this needs to be rid off before i could even think of going there.

Maybe one day, when im married, with grown up kids, still strong enough, rich enough then maybe.

Im thinking of organising another Cage thingy next week...WHO WANNA JOIN!!?? we need at least 15 people la. then fun. =D
